Plantini is a beautiful metal planthouse kit.

The ornate facet topped structure stands just 9.5cm tall and includes everything you need to grow your own opulent tabletop plant house. The kit contains a flat-packed etched planthouse, step by step instructions, a planting pot, compost disc and viola seeds.

As well as providing a protecter shelter for your seedlings, it's removable canopy and fully etched glass panes allows light and water to filter in.

We have just come across Geografia, a Japanese company who produce flat pack atlas's in various themes such as animal, wood or metal.

Once constructed into its three dimensional form, each atlas leans at exactly the angle of the earth's tilt (23.4 degrees). We want one!

Matchcarden - the little secret garden!

Matchcarden is a little house containing its own little garden. Open the box and you'll find everything you need to cultivate your own cress lawn: simply attach your house to garden, sow the seeds and add a little water. In just a few days your garden will start to grow, bringing a little nature indoors.

The collection is comprised of two themes: The City Street, a trio of London inspired townhouses and The English Village, including a charming church, thatched cottage and the local shop.

To help create your dream home, you can personalise your house with a choice of accessories and add chimneys, rooftops, street lamps or weather vanes.

Seeds should sprout within three days and with a little love and care the garden will last up to three weeks. Each garden will bring joy to any desk, windowsill or sideboard. Collect all the designs and create a whole street of little matchbox mementos!

Matchcarden is designed and produced by Another Studio For Design, a London company who are enthusiastic about creating unique gifts for thoughtful givers. Matchcarden is made in the UK, printed with vegetable based inks on FSC approved paperboard.

Independents United are a different kind of marketing company with their own entrepreneurial ventures such as Festival Annual.
